Herbarium SUNY Oswego (State University of New York at Oswego-OSW)

The Oswego Herbarium is comprised of approximately 40,000 specimens with global distribution, dating from the early 1800s through the present. The greatest coverage is from upstate New York and the Lake Ontario region. The collection includes primarily vascular plants with a small bryophyte collection. A large portion of this collection is the orphaned Syracuse University Herbarium.

The OSW is in the process of being fully curated and digitized as part of NSF award #2204516.
