Habitat: as weed growing in semi—shade
Description: Bracken/Brake: It spreads by rhizomes in dry sterile soil. Listed as a variety [Pteridium aquilinum (L.) Kuhn var. Zatiusculum (Desv.) Underw.] due to pubescence. Not all of this very large triangular frond is shown.
