Maple—leaved Viburnum: Shrub 3-7’. Common in New Eng. and north to Quebec, south to GA and TN. Three—lobed leaf is velvety—hairy beneath and new growth of twigs is downy. Leaf margins are dentate. Flowers creamy—white. In fall small nutlets turn from red to black or purple.
